I received IHS partial refund yesterday. But still waiting for decision.
Does that mean anything?
Thanks

The HO website suggests that partial refunds are made when an application is successful. This does seem to be the case most of the times, but there have been a couple of cases where the applicant got a partial refund but refusal, so you should not take it to mean anything. There are also a few people who got partial refunds much before they received their decisions, so it is tough to say.

So they've posted the decision letter and documents?
If so, best of luck!

Does Your complex issue letter has word interview anywhere . Partial Refund could be any thing as few members got partial refund with complex letter and interview or partial refund with Approval or refusal also . It will be very hard to say exactly what does this with partial refund mean while your application in process .

I got the complex issue letter but there is no Word like interview and I did not received any letter after that.
How much time they will take roughly for decision?

Now days they are taking anywhere between 8 weeks to 1 year . But again its all depends to case to case how complex issues are there . Too many extra unwanted papers also slow down the process .

Do they send complex issues letter after going through and checking all the documents in detail? I am asking this question because I have seen comments from some applicants who receive this letter just after 2,3 days of ack/bio letter. So, is it a possibility that they send this because of their workload?

I think most of the complex letters are automatically generated after 4 to 6 weeks of application date . I guess it all depends on the backlog HO have .
