Spouse Visa - Urgent Help Needed !

My wife based in Pakistan is waiting for her spouse visa, i am British citizen.
Yesterday (Monday, 06 March-17) i called on paid telephone service for status checking and to my astonishment, they said that the case has been decided on (Monday, 27-Feb-17). My wife hasn't got any call, text or email as yet. She even went to VAC to check but they couldn't find anything that might had arrived from Sheffield.
I want to ask you guyz, is this normal ? Do they take such a long time to dispatch?
In your experience how much time does it normally take? I am a bit concerned because already it's been 8 days when the case was decided, specially when they just give 30 days visa to start with.
