Congratulations xeesee!

A very quick one if you don't mind - At the bottom of the accounts compilation report, did your accountant put their name OR their firm's name OR both?

He put his firm's name but my accountant stamped every page of the 3 years accounts and signed.

His stamp shows:
-Firm's Name
-Accountant's Name
-Qualification
-licence Number
-Office Address
-Phone Number

It is not an issue, as long as the individual (accountant) is qualified, he meets the requirement, it is not a condition he has to work with a firm to do accounting works, if he is qualified, he can work from home and prepare the annual accounts, he has to have a valid practicing certificate.

Thanks for responding mate!

My query wasn't whether he must work for a firm or not :)

My query was more about that my accountant who is registered and have a practicing license who happen to operate as a Managing Director of a firm wasn't willing to put his name on the accounts (as that's against the Accounting guidelines/statutory requirements) but only his firm's name and HO guidelines specifically ask for "The accounts must clearly show the name of the accountant" and hence the confusion but seems like just the firm name should work, PERHAPS!

I'm not sure, what do you mean by account details. 1st year was in loss,2nd and 3rd year in profit.

Hey xeesee,

Another very quick query if you don't mind please:

Did you provide anything specific to fulfil this "(iii) confirmation of the hourly rate for each settled worker used to claim points, including any changes in the hourly rate and the dates of the changes, enabling calculation of the hours of work created for each settled worker;"

Thank you!

I only gave them FPS and salary slips. I claimed 24 months of employment with 1 employee @ £8.50/hour for 24 months.

Thanks for responding Xeesee. Very helpful!

Hope you don't mind responding another silly one - As you only had 1 employee for 24 months, am I right to interpret that while filing the form in table 3b2, you only filled one table with only Job Number 1 and that's all?

Yes I gave them 1 employee's information in application form like start date, ending date, job title etc..

But submitted all other employees job contracts, salary slips, FPS and passport copies as supporting documents.

You are a star, Xeesee! I promise I wasn't going to ask any more but you are being generous so might clear couple more quick doubts as I am applying next week:

1. Did your FPS reports had 'the submission logs' that says your FPS has been sumbitted? Basically I generated my FPS through Moneysoft after following the forum as my accountant uses 12Pay which doesn't generate FPS in the required format. I have read few threads where Zimba has cleared that 'submissions logs' ain't mandatory but thought to confirm with you as you recently got the extension.

2. Did you provide any accountant letter? (I know this is only requirement if you have taken over/joined the business but thought to ask if you did)

I used bright pay software for FPS with submmision logs.

I also submitted accountant's letter as supporting document which shows;
-3 years turnover
- growth of the business
- money invested
- job creation

Thanks

Super! Am I right to understand that your accountant was using bright pay software and he forwarded you the logs that were produced at the time of actual submission? And not something you produced just for the paperwork like being advised on the forum!

Guessing I can't do much now as my RTI has been done and I don't have the submission logs :(

Yes you are right I receive all this every month. I don't think you need those logs but ask zimbaa88 or confirm with someone else

Thanks Xeesee! I have gone through more than 10 posts where Zimba has confirmed that logs ain't mandatory. But I was trying to be spotless, ha!

Regardless, can you confirm one more thing as the confusion is on the rise! Would you be willing to share the accountant letter format you used? I know there have been few shared but can't find the specific answer I am looking for; the query is: In the job creation letter (by accountant), where you have showed 1 employee for 24 months, the number of job posts created/net creation is 1 ?

Just trying to get the grips with that can I show only 1 job/post created under Transitional Arrangements and still score the points (as long as it's 24 moths). It doesn't have to be 2 jobs/posts, right?

Accountants letter is not compulsory and I'm away from my home till next week. It was not a job creation letter. Letter confirming that 4 people working in my company and business is doing good. It did not say anything about number of hours they work and when the posts created.
