Tier 2 General Visa

Hi All
I have been working for my employer since May 2016 on Tier 2 Genral Visa. Everything i going on ok so far but now my employer wants me to take more responsibilty. My job description & designation is Business Dev. Executive & this is what we mentioned when I applied to get Tier 2 General visa. He wants me to carry on as Business Dev. Executive but at the same time beocme a diretcor as well. My old position will be intact but will this new addition will create any problem for me in my Visa status? Do I need to report this to Home office?
There wont be any pay increase at this time due to this.
Please help as he wants me to him an answer asap
