Transaction by an exchange company

Post by jafersadeq » Sat Mar 11, 2017 12:17 am

Dear Gurus,

One of my transaction done by Exchange Company-Registered in the UK and regulated by FCA, they deposited a cash amount in my business account and they received a receipt from the bank,
The transaction in the bank statement shows: (Remittance/cash deposit/ the branch name), without any details, but the exchange company provide me and the bank with a letter says that they received the money from my home country and my name is in their letter, so I have the bank statement, original receipt from the bank, a letter from the exchange company in the UK with their regulations documents,

Is that acceptable as a readily identifiable transaction? Your opinions please.

Thanks,

Money must be traceable to you. Whatever that means ! :?
Why didn't you deposit the money in your personal account and then transfer it yourself to your company ??!

Dear Zimba88,
Many thanks for your answer,
It was a large amount, the bank refused to deposit it in my personal account.
I have my -back home-personal bank statement, it shows the transaction in $ currency.
UK banks systems are same, if you deposit cash, they write just cash, no name.

Thanks

If you can prove that cash came from you, it is traceable to you. It is up to HO to interpret that one to be honest

Share capital would have been less of a problem. Anyway, they might accept it as loan. You should perhaps send the personal bank statement from your home country.
