FLR(M) Property Inspection report + Land registry O

Post by David180 » Sat Mar 11, 2017 4:53 pm

Hi,

We have collected most of the evidence required but we are having problems with the property inspection report. My local council have spent ages getting back to me and now they tell me because I had a report produced in 2014 (My wife's first spouse visa) they will not produce another one.

Has anyone been successful in an application without submitting a report? We are still living at the same property that we lived in when we made our first application in 2014. It is own by my parent and no circumstances have changed since the first visa application.

Also, the "offical" land registry title deeds we have is the same document we used in 2014 and is dated July 2014. Has anyone used "not recent" Land Registry documents in their application and have been successful?

All the other evidence that we have is solid it is just these two documents that I am slightly worried about.

Thanks for your help in advance!!!

I would have thought the land registry extract needs to be up to date to prove continued ownership.

We submitted an original copy of the estate agent marketing documentation for the house (including floor plan) along with an up to date extract from the land registry and photos of each room. We also had a letter from my parent confirming the dates at which we had lived at the property and that we had her continued permission to occupy and a copy of her bank statement proving she lived with us.

I am not sure if other factors that weren't applicable to us such as overcrowding or council ownership would have made the property inspection report necessary.

A house inspection report is not compulsory. However, if there is one, then make sure that it's not false.
