Expired Residence Permit

Post by fmdddv » Mon Mar 13, 2017 12:45 pm

Hi everyone,

I was hoping to get some help regarding applying for permanent residence if the residence permit has expired since Dec 2016.
Unforseen circumstances have made it difficult to pay before then. What I would like to know is whether the application would be accepted and whether explanation for the delay should also be submitted.
If the application for PR is rejected on that basis, what are the options available please?

Thank you

The expiry of a non-compulsory document should have no impact on the decision.
