Tier2 ICT dependent VISA passport validity

Hi All,

I'm Shankar, Currently i have ICT long term 5 years visa which valid until 2021. I'm planning to bring my family i.e., under ICT long term dependents visa. But my wife's passport is valid only until 2018 Feb, My questions is - Is there any restrictions in the Passport validity for applying long term Staff partner Visa . Can I apply for my Wife's now and can renew her passport from UK before it expires ?
Kindly help in clarifying this query.

I have one more query related to the ICT Staff Migrant partner Visa - My visa is Long term tier 2 ICT 5 years , Is that i can only apply Long-term Staff Partner, up to 5 years or i can also apply Long-term Staff Partner, up to 3 years . Is there any restrictions on that. Kindly advise.
