Hi
Looking at the policy for Tier 2 general to ILR, it says that there should not be more than 60 days break between jobs if switching jobs. Then it also says that they will only consider information from within 5 years.
I initially entered the UK with Sponsor A, but quit after 6 months as A was dodgy and was not paying me. I got a new job and got a new sponsor (B) but because of CoS delay, did not submit my application until about 67 days after I quit the old job. There was no curtailment notice issued and new visa granted with no issues.
I'm looking to apply for ILR after 5 years with current sponsor, so as to completely discount my time with Sponsor A (they're already out of business BTW and the director has disappeared as far as anyone know so it would be impossible to get any info re: annual leave etc as well, other than the P45 I got, which was also wrong in terms of salary and everything).
Anyway, technically I didn't switch jobs at all in the 5 year period I'm counting for ILR as I'm only using the full 5 years with my current employer. My question is, will Home Office still look at the previous job and the 1 week more than 60 days between jobs? If so, should I even bother paying the fees and applying?
Many thanks!
