Yes but today completes the 9th working day and they didn't send me anything. Does it mean they'll refuse my application?

Hi,

I am waiting for my family permit for me and my daughter.
Applied date and Biometrics - 03 April 2018
Same day gotten email from TLSconnecr that UKVI have recieved my application
Date of email from Sheffield(for my daughter) - 14 April 2018
Date of email from Sheffiel(for myself) - 15 April 2018

I thought since they have been forwarded my application that from the day I applied my application will take up to 15 working days. Now the email form Sheffield states that it will take 15 working days. My daughter was denied access to the UK on the 29th of March. My husband started his new job in the UK on the 9th of April. I wasn't aware that my Article 10 German residency card would not allow me to enter the UK. Though apparently the German residence card is the only one that has been accepted due to the fact that Biometrics have to be taken to be able to apply for one. I am from South Africa me and my daughter. So now have to stay with a friend in Germany while I wait for these people to send me my permits.

Hi
Congrats on fp,NI is easy to get,you just have to call them and they will send you form at your address, once received, you have to fill the form and send it back and you will receive national insurance number on a letter in few weeks. You can go to any bank with this letter and open bank account. I opened mine with Lloyd's.

Hi, yes it happens sometimes some people don’t get the “decision made” ticked it stays red while “ready for collection” or dispatched by courrier is green, hopefully it’s going to be granted

Anyone apply for EEA family permit recently from Dublin... I really want to know how long it takes to process it and also.. it says online that they require original documents especially the sponsor passport but at the submission centre, they just scanned and returned all the documents. Any current idea about this...

Hi, yes I think you should reapply with the Egyptian marriage certificate translated by a certified translator in English if it’s not already, add the polish one as well to show it’s been registered in Poland. Whenever possible provide the original document if not explain why you can’t provide it and to avoid any other issues look back in this post to see what others have add in their application to get the EEa FP,

No. A Non-EU citizen cannot sponsor family members under the EU rules. Only EU citizens can do that.

Hi guys,

I have been reading this forum avidly over the past few months and wanted to give you an insight to my timeline of rejection and eventual acceptance and help answer any questions if I can.

For reference I am the EEA Family member and my partner (non-married but living together for three years) is an EU Citizen.

I firstly applied in February and was rejected with documents and passport returned inside 18 business days. I forgot to include his passport - silly me. We reapplied and I paid the priority fee. I was promised a decision would be made within 5 business days. This was not the case, however.

Here is the timeline:

24/03/2018 Application received by decision making centre
27/03/2018 biometrics
28/03/2018 Confirmation of supporting documents received email.
08/04/2018 called UK Immigration paid service call centre - was told no decision had been made and to wait longer despite paying priority fee.
10/04/2018 received all my documents back via mail except for my current passport and older passports and had been told these were sent off to a processing centre.
16/04/2017 called UK Immigration paid service call centre - was told there was no decision made, and to call back that Wednesday if I had heard nothing via email.
18/04/2018 called UK Immigration paid service call centre - was finally allowed to escalate my case.
25/04/2018 received an email from UK immigration saying a decision had been made on 18 April 2018. No other information. Information of refusal or acceptance not available online.
26/04/2018 passport arrived with EEA Family Member Visa acceptance. 🍾❤️🎉

From our initial application in February through to today it took approximately 2.5 months. Definitely not the 15 business days we were told. However, we are ecstatic! I have been missing my partner like crazy and we finally get to be reunited!!! Can’t wait :)!!!

Will definitely be back on here to get advice about the next steps for the 5 year visa once I’m in the UK next week. For now, I can finally sleep again. This insomnia and deep dread/worry has been all consuming.

Hello Arthemis,
Do you have any update. My wife has similar timeline as you:

Applied date and Biometrics - 29 March 2018
Same day gott email from TLSconnect that UKVI has received my application
Date of email from Sheffield - 13 April 2018

Nothing so far. We're already beyond the 15 working days processing time. Any rationale behind this delay?

Hello Everyone,

Does any of you is experiencing long delay. Below is the timeline of my wife.

Applied date and Biometrics - 29 March 2018
Same day got email from TLSconnect that UKVI has received my application
Date of below email from Sheffield - 13 April 2018

When can we expect the decision to be made from now?

Your online application has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer.

If you have made a Settlement application (except for applications lodged in USA and Canada): you must ensure that your UK sponsor has sent all relevant supporting documentation to the UK Decision Making Centre in Sheffield. The documents should be arranged in this order: application form and relevant Appendix* (See below); English language evidence; relationship documents; maintenance documents; accommodation documents. If documents are not received a decision will be taken on the basis on the information that has been provided.
If you have already had your supporting documents scanned in at the Visa Application Centre, or if you have already sent them in to us, please ignore the request for documents.

Please note that UKVI aims to complete all Visit Visa applications within 15 working days and all Settlement Visa applications within 12 weeks of the application date. If it is not possible to complete your application within this timeframe a member of our team will contact you to explain why.

If you have paid for Priority Service, your application will be placed in front of the queue and assessed ahead of other non-priority visa applications. As indicated in the terms of service, the amount paid for the priority service, as well as the visa fees, is not refundable if the visa application is refused or if the decision is delayed.

We regret that we are unable to respond to enquiries asking about the status of any application. Any status enquiry should be made to the international enquiry service, details of which are on the GOV.UK website. Staff at Embassies, visa processing centres and visa application centres cannot assist with visa enquiries. You may also wish to view the current processing times for applications made in your country.

A further email will be sent to you to confirm when your application has been assessed and dispatched. If your application was made in a Visa Application Centre, the staff there will contact you when your documents are ready – please do not attend the Centre until you are requested to do so.

Please note that you are advised not to purchase flight tickets until you have secured a visa for travel to the UK.

You should receive EITHER email or SMS (if you subscribed for this option). Hope that helps!

Dear sir
I had just go an email in which it had been told me that my wife and here child can not have visa becasue "ou have provided no evidence that he holds either an Italian passport or EEA identity card and I am therefore not satisfied that he is an EEA National."
now my problem is how many time I can ask again the visa and much more how long I have to wait from asking it again?
