Financial Resources EEA Form

Post by Martinez83 » Sun Mar 19, 2017 4:27 pm

Hi guys,

my fiancee started filling electronic form for PR - everything seems to be straight forward apart from 2 questions:

1) Date first time entered to the UK - unfortunately my fiancee doesn't remember when exactly she entered the UK for the first time when she was here for holidays before we have actually met (she knows it was more or less somewhere in February 2009). So what we will do instead is provide the date when she actually moved to UK to live permanently - which was in May 2011. We would then also provide brief explanation of a whole situation in a letter to clarify that she has also visited UK few times between 2009-2011 for short breaks. Is that reasonable approach?

2) Were you a student or self sufficient person? - what does it exactly ask for? She wasn't a student but she was working full time throughout the last 6 years so obviously she was self sufficient person. But when you click on YES - it ask you to provide some financial details...That looks very weird to me especially that she has already provided all the details of her last 6 years employment. On top of this - in the summary section this question seems to be related to the studies & learning section so I suspect that the correct answer would be NO. Am I right?

Thanks
