First British Passport for a baby.

Post by Mags789 » Mon Mar 20, 2017 7:02 pm

Can someone please advise me regarding the first British U.K. passport for my baby? When i apply i need to prove my residency status and that I was in this country and exercised treaty rights for 5 years prior to the birth. So if my baby was born in 2016 do I need to prove 5 years prior to that so 2011-2016 or can it be for example 2007-2012?? And also is NI Statement from hrmc is a proof that I been exercising treaty rights or do they need p60 ect? Thank you

If you show that you have (automatically) attained PR from an earlier qualifying period, e.g. between 2007 and 2012, then you should also show PR wasn't lost under 15(3), since then.
