How to get multiple entry Schengen visa from Sweden Embassy

Hi all.

My wife is a Pakistani national who has a UK spouse visa.

We have applied for Schengen visas before but instead of always having to apply for say a month or 2 I am wanting to get a multiple entry Schengen visa. We have an appointment with the Swedish consulate soon. Can you please advise on what the best approach is for this?

I recall when applying for a visa that when I asked the person about this she said that I would have to show a travel plan/itinerary. The thing is what if I showed for example that we are travelling for 3 weeks to Sweden, then 2 weeks after this going to Finland for 2 weeks, then say 3 weeks after that going to some other EU country for a week for example - would this suffice? And what would I need to provide documentation of?

Please can you provide as much advice as you can please?
