Application form-Payment section

Post by jafersadeq » Tue Mar 21, 2017 10:35 pm

Dear Gurus,

In application form, page 7-Section 1- A2- Contact address in the UK for correspondence, and in page 4 –the last paragraph says:
“A2-A3 If the address for correspondence is different from your home address in the UK, please give that address at A2. If a solicitor or other authorised immigration adviser is submitting the application, it should be their address at A2 and their name at A3. These details will also be used to acknowledge receipt of the application. “
If I authorise a solicitor, I have to write his address in A2 ,
And if I used my debit card for payments, that address will be different from the solicitor’s address and the bank will decline the payments.
So, can I write my address for correspondence even if I authorise a solicitor?

What is your opinion?

Thanks

No, it should be the address of your solicitor as the wording clearly tells you. I suggest to use a postal order to mitigate the risks.

Many thanks,

Postal Orders disadvantage:
1-The maximum amount for one order is £250 , so each person needs 5 postal orders (4X£250 + 1X£204).
2-It should be attach in the first page and may be the lost it or one,, that leads for invalid application.

If I use Bankers Draft, it is safe, but it needs 7 days to be cleared.

Your advice
Thanks again,

Dear Zimba88,

If I used Postal Orders or Bankers draft, according to HO explanation they say that it has to be payable to "Home Office" but most of post offices, banks write "The Home Office", they add "The".
Is it acceptable?
Thanks,
