Hi,
I'm posting this message to inquire about how easy / difficult it is to get a visitor visa to UK after spending 5+ months there on an Tier 2 - ICT short term visa.
To give you more background on my travel history to the UK - I initially traveled in April 2016 for about 12 days on a visitor visa, to meet my friends there. I then got an opportunity from my company to go on a secondment for about 150 days (5 months) to UK. I went in September 2016 and came back in February 2017. Cause of a lot of work - I wasn't able to cover a whole lot of places while there. I obviously liked the place quite a lot and I'm planning to travel to UK again in April for about 3-4 weeks (as I have to use up my accumulated leaves before I end up losing them) and I want to go to Scotland, Ireland and some other cities like Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, that I wasn't able to visit during my 5 months there (again cause of work).
I have enough bank balance to be able to support my trip and I would be staying over at a friend's place there for the time that I'm in London, who is willing to send over a letter of invitation as well.
So my question is - would it be a problem for me to apply for a visitor visa now after having spent 5 months there?
