Have your employer informed UKVI about the termination? If Yes, it's a risky proposition and he/she could be denied entry while returning back to UK.

Hi, I need your advise please. My child is a part of a team who will be competing in Illinois USA (Bible competition). He will be there for a week. My question is, will be stopped in re entering UK? He is under 18 y/o. My tier 2 general migrant visa was cancelled by my employer due to failure to achieved conditions (overseas nurse failed to get NMC registration within 8 months) and was reported to UKVI last week of March 2017. I hope you can give me advise on this. Thank you

It is risky to travel after your employer has informed UKVI about termination of the visa. I don't think they will turn back children but that is the discretion of the Border Control agent

Thank you for your reply rubyracer, I inquired to UKVI and I was told that as long as there is no curtailment issued he will be able to enter. I am so confused really on what to do now, as my son's need to be with his team at the same time worry on the possibilities of not able to re enter U.K. Thank you
