Tier 2 extension withdrawl

Post by gskall » Sat Mar 25, 2017 1:47 pm

Hi All,

I am in a tricky situation. can someone please help me out.

I applied for a tier-2 visa extension with same employer on 13th feb through priority service.
Received exceptionally complex letter and from then there is no response from ukvi.
My spouse is also added as dependent in the application.
Meanwhile my current visa expired.
Now i got another offer who is willing to sponsor.
1. How can i make a new application when the current application is in progress. Do i need to cancel or withdraw my current application?
2. If i have to cancel or withdraw my current application - how can i do it?
3. If i cancel or withdraw my current application, do i need to wait until i receive my documents before making new application. I am ready to go for premium service as well.
4. Can i work with my current employer if i withdraw my current application and until a decision is made on new application? My spouse is also working at the moment. what will happen to her work situation?
5. If my new application is success, can i serve notice period with my current employer?
6. Will i be considered as overstayer if i withdraw my application? If yes, will it affect new application?
7. My spouse wants to leave the country within 14days after withdrawing application. If thats the case, will it affect her future applications as either tier-2 main applicant or dependent?

Thanks,
gskall
