SET (o) - Number of hours this salary is based on

Post by Inaa » Tue Mar 28, 2017 11:33 pm

Hi All,

Could you please help me to answer / calculate for following questions (Page 18) please.

Q1 - Number of hours this salary is based on , what should I enter? ( my annual salary is 35700 and number of hours 37.5/week) ?

Q2 - My relevant SOC Code requires £31,100/year based on 39 hours/week (Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings) , I believe I meet this requirement as £35700/year salary and number of hours 37.5/week ?

Q3 - Minimum ILR salary (35K) based on what number of hours/week?

Thanks
Inaa

Sorry I couldn't get it properly

Number of hours this salary is based on = 37.5 (per week working hour) * 52 (total weeks in a year) 1950 hours ?

Thanks

Q1 - Number of hours this salary is based on , what should I enter? ( my annual salary is 35700 and number of hours 37.5/week) ? - 37.5*52 = 1950 hrs

Q2 - My relevant SOC Code requires £31,100/year based on 39 hours/week (Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings) , I believe I meet this requirement as £35700/year salary and number of hours 37.5/week ? - 39*52 = 2028 hrs / and you definitely meet ILR requirements

Q3 - Minimum ILR salary (35K) based on what number of hours/week? - It depends on what is your SOC code and who is the provider for the income source.

Thanks

My SOC code is 2136 and source is "Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings" so how does ILR 35k fits in this scenario for me?

Thank you

The rates are based on a 39-hour working week for all occupations where the salary source used is the
Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings.

2136 Programmers and software development professionals
Salary rates: New entrant: £24,000 / Experienced: £31,100 / 39 hrs
[Source: Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings 2014]

So you said your pay is 35700/37.5 hrs - so you are fine
