Bus Lane PCN

Post by zooz333 » Thu Mar 30, 2017 1:51 pm

Hi there;

Anyone has a personal experience of having some kind of a PCN (Parking ticket, bus lane contravention) and declaring or not declaring it for a tier 2 extension application.

I'm supposed to be extending shortly, I have 2 bus lane tickets within a week actually but :D paid promptly with no issues, and haven't seen a single confirmed piece of information related to this. A colleague of mine told me he had 1 bus lane ticket and didn't declare and got his extension.

Others say declare it just in case but that way you could be opening an unnecessary door as I heard UKVI could confuse PCN with FPN and deny the visa. The guidance is very confusing too.

Anyone had an experience with this? Thanks :D

Declare it. They're not gonna deny you a visa over a traffic violation, but they will if they find out and you didn't declare it.
