Online PR Application and Absences

Just wanted to confirm with you my assumption...

Am I right in thinking that as part of the online application for PR there's only employment and residency proof needed and absences from the UK not ?

Can't find any requirement for absences as part of the online application checklist.

No, they do not ask for proof of the absences. If you have a national ID card you can send that instead of a passport so they can't even check the stamps for trips outside the EU. They might cross check with information from UK Visas and Immigration, but even that wouldn't give a complete picture.
