need help T1e extension in process but got charged by police

I was charged by plice for carrying knife in front of my shop(a post office and news agent) after I submitted my T1E extention form, I need advice

Last saturday someone has made a joke and phoned the police saying my shop was broke into an 1 am. At that time I was sleeping on the upstairs flat of the shop.

The police came the searched my shop and triggered the alarm in the front door. I was so scared and felt my life was in danger. I carried a Spam knife, came out from back door and come the the front of the shop to see what happened. Unfortunately as soon as I open the door the plolice notice that I had a knife in my hand, no chance to explain I was arrested and charged with carrying knife in public place.

My lawyer assured me this is a mistake by the police and suggest I plead not guilty on court as I am proteting myself. But I am still worried Home office will refuse my visa as the extension in process.

I also want to ask, if I am unfortunately found guilty, would I be exported from UK leaving no time to deal with my business? I own the freehold business and i NEED time to sell it if I need to leave uk

Until your visa is not decided you should be OK. You can continue to work in your business.
Even if you are found guilty, you will not be deported from the UK or even get a refusal. Your case might affect the outcome of your application.
Tier 1E rules do not have a good character requirement. Unless you commit a serious crime, you will not be refused a visa.
