PAYE ACCOUNT DUE

Post by rad2017 » Sun Apr 02, 2017 9:26 pm

Dear zimba88 and other members,

Hope all are fine.

Could you please tell that if the PAYE account has a due with HMRC and whether it will affect on the extension decision or not?

I normally pay the PAYE (Employee Tax and NI, Employer's NI) to HMRC quarterly and I have a due of 1200/1300 pound. My application pending. Does anyone has any idea about this matter? Has anyone been refused due to this matter. My accountant said, it is not the factor whether you vave a due or not, matter is submitting the RTI regularly.

Please share your knowledge and experince.

Thanks in advance

HO Can not refused because you have not paid on time or tax & Nic is outstanding., This is matter between you and HMRC . HO is only concern regard FPS submission which you have to submit on monthly basis .

Every month you have to pay HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC):

the tax and National Insurance (and any other deductions) you owe as reported on your Full Payment Submission (FPS) in the previous tax month
minus the reductions on any Employer Payment Summary (EPS) you sent before the 19th in the current tax month
Pay what you owe by the 22nd of the month (or the 19th if paying by post) - you may have to pay a penalty if you don’t.

You may be able to pay quarterly if you usually pay less than £1,500 per month .

This is not immigration related matter. :!:
You are required by law to pay PAYE taxes on time and by the due date or else you could incur fine for late payments.
