EEA(FP)

Post by Alikhan07 » Sun Apr 02, 2017 10:35 pm

Hi my wife was born in uk and has always lived and worked in uk but her parents are from Ireland and she always held a Irish passport.
I applied last year from uk to obtain eea fp but it was refused as HO said it doesn't apply as my wife has always lived in uk but my solicitor has always maintained that HO is wrong and has appealed against thier decision and now after 18 months i am getting close to my appeal date and just wanted to know if anyone of you here has been through the same as i am going through.
If anyone here can help it would be great thanks.

Assuming your wife holds dual British/Irish nationality, see Section 16 in the link below.
