Tier 2 dependent application post expiry date

Post by Adam22 » Mon Apr 03, 2017 11:09 pm

Dear all,
Thank you for this magnificent forum.
I'm currently in the UK as a tier 2 migrant and i'm applying for an extension as my visa ends in May.
My son's (Tier 2 dependent) visa expires in May as well, but he's currently outside the UK and I can't bring him here before August. Can I apply for a new dependent visa for him in June under his father's main visa or not?? or do I have to bring him here (which is almost impossible) before his visa expires for an extension?

I need your guidance please. Thank you

You are the mother and is a Tier 2 migrant?
What's his father's main visa?
What will you be applying for?
