Hello,

My mother moved to the UK in summer 2007.

At the time I was 16 and my older sister was 19.

Me and my sister we did not move to the UK in 2007. I moved to the UK in 2009 and my sister moved to the UK in 2010.

Last year I got my EEA PR card through my mother, as she had been a qualified person (worker in the UK) since summer 2007. My mother now is a British Citizen and still lives in the UK since 2007.

In my EEA PR application i argued that because at the time when my mother came to the UK (summer 2007), I was under 21 meaning financially dependant and part of the household.

My sister has lived in the UK continuously for 5 years.

Can my sister also derive her EEA PR card through my mother ?

At the time when my mother moved to the UK for work in 2007, my sister was 19 (under 21), and was financially dependant on my mother and continued to be financially dependant up until my sister moved to the UK in 2010.

When i applied for my EEA PR, I was told that I acquired my PR status back in 2007 even though I physically entered the UK in 2009.

Could that be the same for my sister, she is only 3 years older than me and was under 21 when my mother moved to the UK.

My sister can provide documents that she has been in the UK for a continuous period of 5 years in the UK.
