10 year ILR rejected, FLR (M) for dependent rejected too!

Hi everyone,

I am writing on behalf of someone I know. Basically, the main applicant applied for ILR (10 year route) in September 2016. His application got rejected about two months ago. His wife came to the UK in 2014 as his dependent. The main applicant applied for 10 year ILR and she applied for FLR (M) at the same time in sept 2016. She has received the refusal letter two days ago with the reason that although she is suitable for this visa, she is not eligible for it. I believe her FLR (M) visa has been rejected because her husband's ILR application got rejected two months ago.

What are her options now?

I agree. As a dependant, her options are limited to the success or failure of her husband's application. Why was his application refused? What options did he pursue after his refusal?

Do they have any leave left?
