got a letter from HO says they need more time

Hi Everyone:

I got a letter today saying they need more time to make decision as the complexity of my case.

I know it may be just a template for them but still feel a bit down.

Just wonder whether this is a bad sign and how long will the HO take to make the decision after sending the letters to applications?

My timeline:
applied on 28th Feb
BRP Finger print: 15/03
and letter received today about they need more time

The case worker has too many files to be decided, he wrote to you to be in the safe side. Search in the forum and you will see many members got such letter, do not panic, it is not refusal letter.
Complexity means they do not have time because the massive applications, so they do not say that, they throw the ball on your side. They do that because it is a legal way to avoid any appeal later.
