Tier 2 General visa refused incorrect gross salary

SOS Please somebody help!

I just got a refusal letter for my tier 2 visa extension application. The refusal was base on incorrect gross wage. if I have to send in fresh application with a new cos, what will be the employment start date, and will I be eligible to continue to work if the application is sent within 28 days of date of refusal.
