Tier 2 ICT Dependent to Tier 2 (G)

Hi All

I am currently working as an events manager in a reputed UK hotel chain. I am on my wife's ICT long term dependent visa which will expire in 6 months. There is this position coming up in one of our other venues which I will be applying for.My employer is ready to give me any paper work but they don't have any sponsorship licence as off now. I know it is a long and tedious process if any of you can help me understand what they need to do in regards to helping me sponsor,so that I can shed some light on this process to our HR.
