COS Doubts

I was offered by two different employers, In that employer 1 is issued COS for me which is getting expired by April 22 but I am interested to go with employer 2. I informed employer 1 that i am not interested to join, Now employer 2 is ready to apply COS for me but before that employer 1 has to withdraw the COS and informed them to withdraw it. Unfortunately till employer 1 is not cancelled my COS.
Now, I want to know can i request employer 2 to wait till April 22 and then apply COS or its mandatory to cancel the COS issued by employer 1?
If i go to visa application center with COS from employer 2, is there any question will arise about COS issued by Employer in Visa center.

A sponsor has to withdraw an assigned CoS if you ask them to. This is a sponsor duty and they have to do it within 5 working days.

You can complain to the Home Office if they don't.
