ILR Dependent qualifying period and SET (o) form queries

Post by shitaldedhia » Sat Apr 15, 2017 9:31 pm

Hello,

I've urgent query regarding below and if someone can answer me will be much appreciated.

I've first entered in UK in Aug-2010 on Tier 2 dependent visa and till now I'm on the same dependent visa.

My husband has now obtained BC and I'm planning to apply my ILR.

Does the qualifying period will be 5 years or 2 years? and when this 2/5 years will be calculated? it is from the date from entry?

Also, I was looking at SET (o) from, it seems like most of the question doesn't apply to dependent (Points and section 9). does anyone has link to these sections?

Thanks,

For you it is 2 years, calculated from the date of entry, assuming that your husband did NOT apply for his ILR via the 10 year route.
Use form SET(O). if you read the form properly you see that section 9 does not need to be filled if you are a Tier 2 dependant

READ --> PBS Dependants not eligible for ILR at the same time as you?
