Permanent address for Tier 2 Dependent visa

Post by ShrutiBlue » Sun Apr 16, 2017 7:45 pm

Hi guys

My husband is applying for a Tier 2 Dependent visa from the US (he's an Indian national). In the question asking for his residential address, we provided his US address. Then there was another question about how long he has lived there and if his contact address is different from this address.

But looking at the pdf version of the application which has to be sent to the British Consulate, the word "permanent" has appeared in the first question asking for a residential address. Now we are doubtful whether we should have provided his Indian address that is mentioned in the passport.

Does anyone have any idea about this? Should we write a cover letter mentioning that the actual permanent address is in India and that we made a mistake?

Thank you, any help will be highly appreciated. We have filled out and submitted the online application and he has to go for Biometrics and send the documents by post later this week.

Can anyone provide any insight on this? My husband's biometrics appointment is on the 21st and he will send the documents immediately after.
