If you can guide me Casa please
I am British citizen, with three kids all British
My wife has been issued visa through appeal, 10 year partner route with no recourse to public funds (30 months visa)
I never claimed HB before, but last year I was made homeless by landlord and I went council for help. They helped me and put me and my family in temp accommodation. At that time my wife visa was under appeal. The council decided to help me as I was on ilr at that time and also told me to claim HB as the rent was high and I would not survive on salary I am getting.
Now checking the benefit letter it states :
Following information we used to calculate your HB
Wife income (n/a) = £0
Couple with person between 18 and pension = 114.85
Young person under 11 * 3 = 200.70
Now there is no mention of name of my wife as all I claim in my name
Do you think there will be problem for my wife extension in future ? What should I ? Is this wrong ? I didn't hide anything from council as I gVe them all docs needed
Please guide
