Need help applying for short term visa

My niece who is currently holding tier 4 general student visa studying in a university.
Because she was sick due to asthma, during one of the exam, she couldn't attend the exam. and now she has to write the exam in july or august.

but her visa expirs on 14th May 2017

because our whole family is here, we would like her not to go to India and apply the visa after 2 months as we don't have close relatives in India right now.

Is there a way she can stay here and apply the visa. Can anyone please provide some details regarding this?

With respect, your niece needs proper immigration advice from her Tier 4 sponsor, not via her uncle posting in an online forum.

Her university needs to manage and endorse her sponsorship and any extension to it, and they have an International Student Adviser who can advise her.
