T2 General: multiple COS issued for extension and transfer

My T2 General visa will expire in mid of July 2017 but my company wants to file extension application by end of April for another 3 years. That would be 3 years in the current company on T2 General.

I am expecting an offer from a new company and they would like to sponsor T2 General in this month.

I think there will a COS for T2G Visa extension from current company and new company needs to get a COS for T2G sponsorship (for transfer).

Is there any problem to have multiple COS issued at the same time from different companies with different categories (extension & transfer)?

You can only have one live CoS at any time. If a CoS has already been assigned to you, then other application of CoS will be refused.
