Canadian applying to work in the Netherlands

Hello I want to move to the Netherlands and work as soon as possible. I'm trying to apply for a visa right now but I can't seem to find the official government site to apply ?

Can anyone please help me a little bit in which visa I should apply for? Which route would be the fastest ? And what's the official site to apply ? Because I've seen they do have special visas for young Canadians.

Also one more thing I've heard that you can take a flight out there and go to the embassy building or the city hall building and apply for a sort of temporary work visa that they stick to your passport until your visa arrives is this true ?

In netherland, you cannot apply work permit on your own, a sponsor (the company/employer) has to apply for you at the ind. Ofcourse there are routes where you can apply as an entrepreneur, but I believe that is not what you are looking for.
