Tier 2 general shortage occupation visa (dependent)

Hi,

Can anybody shed a light on the processing of spouse dependent. My husband is set for biometrics this May, and we wanted to go to UK together. The employer already gave us the certificate of sponsorship to be able to get the spouse at the same time. Are we just one application? Or I need (dependent) to create a new account? If I need to creat another application, what visa shall I choose? Tier 2 general, or the tier 2 gen shortage occupation partner up to 3 years?
