Hi,
My parents were here in the UK on visit visa and by mistake they got registered in the surgery as NHS patients and they had some consultations with the GP as well. When we realised I asked surgery to register my parents as private patients and they gave us the letters to confirm as well which is attached. Now my parents wants to apply for the visit visa again and I am not sure whether my parents still need to clear the previous NHS charges or not? And how this will affect their visa even if I pay all the NHS charges? Please advice.. Thanks
The letter received from Surgery states:
This letter is to confirm this patient was registered as an NHS patient at our practice from 09-06-14 until 08-10-15. We have removed him from our list after her son informed us that he is not eligible for NHS treatment. His son said he would like to pay for his consultations but we have not accepted this as we had mistakenly registered him as an NHS patient

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, both of my parents were registered. And the charges are suppose to be for the consultations with the GP (my father had 7 and mother had 4). The cost per consultation is £50.
But the problem is not the cost. The problem is that the Surgery is not letting me pay the charges and the reason is that at the time my parents were registered as NHS patients so they cannot charge them.
So I am not sure how this situation can affect my parents visa even though its not even their fault.
Thanks,

Declare it. Enclose letter from Surgery, etc. It should be
okay.
