Criminal record checks

The new rules require a criminal record check for T2 applicants.
Does that apply to extension of T2 that we need a DBS check locally?

It's not applicable to all SoC codes. Have you checked whether your SoC code has the requirement.

Also AFAIK it's only the overseas criminal record and doesn't include DBS which I presume UKVI would anyway be checking. But I'm not sure about that and best to wait for a senior member to confirm

Yes, it applies to my job.
I had to get one for my job application before the rules came into effect anyway.
