English language test for 'leave to remain' - IELTS test

Hello,

I got 5.5 points IELTS test on 2013 and I applied my Spouse visa at the same year. This year I need to renew my visa on Oct 2017. I would like to know if I need to redo the English test?

One of lawyer said I have to do becoz IELTS test only valid for 2 year. Amother immigration agencyou said I might not necessary be coz 5.5pounts already B1 standard, not related to if the IELTS only valid for 2 years.

Did someone know about this and let me know?

Unless you have a degree, you must redo it again.

Since you took the test a lot has changed , you may need IELTS SELT test now.
