Eea1&Eea2 with a 2 month old son but lived 11 months

Hi guys .. I'm new to this forum, I've gone through loads of convos but it seems to make me awake of lots of things I was missing.. basically, I'm a non Eea citizen, but my partner is Italian , we just lived together for 11 months now, but we have a lovely 2 month old son, we applied for the Eea2-Eea1 together , but I haven't heard anything from HO an it's been 5 weeks now, is there a chance of getting the residence card even if we cohabath for less than 2 years... we have all documents intact , my partners 6 months payslips, bank statements, statements from our family and friends, pictures of us an our son, birthcirtificate, letter from both of us on how we met.. do we stand a chance??
