Urgent - UK VISA Documents Query

Post by Rakesh16 » Tue May 02, 2017 10:25 am

Hi

My father has an appointment to apply for a UK visitor visa tomorrow i.e. 03.05.2017 at Delhi.

As part of the sponsor's documents, I have provided an employer letter confirming my employment details and 6 month's payslips certified by the employer.

The letter is dated 21st March 2017 and the payslips are certified as on 29.03.2017.
In addition, I have also provide bank statements until end of March 2017.

I am worried that the letter/payslips are dated/certified slightly over a month ago. Would this be an issue?

Would be grateful if someone can answer on an urgent basis as the appointment is tomorrow.

Thanks

What evidence is your father submitting to prove he is self-sufficient in his home country?

Apologies I didn't understand the relevance of the question. Would be grateful if you could elaborate.

My original question was more around the date on the letter from employer and date of seal/stamp on the payslips. As these are slightly over a month old i.e. 21st March for the letter and 29th March for the date of certification mentioned on the payslips, I am worried if this would be an issue.

In response to your question on the evidence my father is submitting to show he is self-sufficient, my father is dependant on me i.e. his son and he is submitting original bank statements showing sufficient funds for his bank in India with a letter of explanation that I deposit money into his bank account from time to time.

In addition, he is also producing original registration for his house and property tax receipts.

Hope this would be ok, pls confirm.

Thanks

The reason I ask is that visitor visas for parents are now frequently being refused when they are being financially supported by the sponsor in the UK.

This is due in part to the route to settlement for adult dependent relatives being virtually closed in July 2012. The Entry Clearance Officers take the view that without strong ties and financial self-sufficiency in the home country the applicant is at risk of overstaying the visitor visa.

I was hoping you would say that your father is financially independent in which case the fact that your proof of employment is outside the 28 days may be overlooked.

Ok.

I have included information on my sisters i.e. my father's two daughters
- one who is married, resides with her family in India and is in full time employment
- second daughter who is married but separated and now lives with my father and is in full time education
to show ties. As evidence, letter from employer/college has also been provided.

Also that my father is registered for residence (Adhaar card), Tax (PAN card) and Voting (voters id card) in his home country together with an explanation that he only plans to visit for a few weeks.

My father has a US visa as well and has been granted UK visa several times in the past and has never overstayed.

Hope they will take the additional information as per above into account and consider this a genuine case.

Do you think the additional information outlined below will further strengthen the case?

One more question, please if you could help?

I have mentioned in the cover letter that my father's property has an expected market value of 75 lakhs INR but the original agreement papers do not show the value, would this be ok?

Thanks

It should be in your father's favour that he's been granted visitor visas in the past. Good luck!
