Bank Statment clarification for permanent residence

Hi all,
I am applying for permanent residence but I have doubts regarding the bank statement.
If I am asking for a 5 years bank statement now to my bank, the address showed is the current one, and although the statement prove my transactions in the UK during the 5 years , I am not convinced it could be used as valid proof as the address doesn't coincide with the one I had 5 years ago.
Am I wrong?

Could someone help me to clarify this point?
