Working in UK on HSMP

Post by gary2204 » Wed Jan 30, 2008 9:44 pm

Hi

Though I have my HSMP valid for 1.5 years more I had a doubt which I request experts to clarify, since this is the first time I am working in UK on HSMP.

I am working for a client on contract, and my payroll is done by umbrella company.

I intend to take a letter of employment when I finish my contract - should this letter be taken from the umbrella company who does my payroll or from the end client for whom I am working. The letter will contain dates of employment and gross earning during the contract period.

FYI, the end client sends approval mail to my job agency about my monthly timesheets i.e payroll and the job agency conveys this info to the umbrella company for weekly payroll.

Also I submit 2-3 weeks timesheets together - will this cause a problem - should the timesheets be submitted weekly or monthly ?
