Money invested means spend all the money ?

Hi Gurus,

Does anyone Know, Money invested means Spend all the money?

I have spend £42K so far, I got to rest in Bank account.
when I read the guidance it says all 50K must be invested. Does it mean I have spent all the money?
And I have made a loss of £12K this year will that be a problem ?

Hello,

Once the money is transfer into the business account you have tick the criteria of investment and are eligible for the points, other terminology used is spend. Once the money is in business account, its upto business need whether business have to spend the whole amount or limited depend on the nature of business. As far as visa requirement is concern you have tick the box for investment as per my understanding. Gurus can correct me if I have misunderstood. Good Luck

If you have Invested required £50k/200k from your Personal Account to Company Business Account then you have satisfied that Investment Criteria unless you spent it Part/Full on directors remuneration.

There is no requirement to spend all the funds company have, It fully depend on company needs.

But, If the funds (Spent+Balance in account) is equal or greater than required funds 50k/200k respectively then you are fine.
