EPOS work permit application

Hi,

Has anyone used the EPOS (electronic permits online system) for any work permit application to Ireland? Before implementing they said processing of work permits would be faster and I am wondering if this has become a reality? Please let us know what your experience with the service has been. I know that their processing volumes have gone up significantly, but the system should then at least have kept them on par?

How long did you wait?
Was the status tracker useful?
Did you feel that you could communicate with anyone at the department or was it just a yes/no electronic response?
Did you have any specific problems/unhappiness with the system?
