Travel to EU countries with EEA Resident Card from UK

Post by Leann » Tue May 09, 2017 9:16 am

Hi,

I would like to know if I can travel to other EU countries from the UK for a holiday with an EEA Spouse Resident Card which I obtained in the UK. Do I need to obtain a visa because I'm travelling alone? I am a Non EU Passport Holder.

Looking forward for some answers.

Thank you
Leann

If you have an article 10/20 residence card as "Family member of an EU/EEA/UNION citizen" then you can travel with it BUT only if accompanied or joining with your EU spouse.

Any other residence card issued to spouse based on UK law doesn't entitle you.
