Appropriate Salary for Switching Sponsor in Tier 2 visa

Post by Adria » Wed May 10, 2017 12:31 am

Hello everyone,

Could anyone tell me what's the appropriate salary for changing employment in tier-2 General visa if someone already had tier-2 General visa which was initially granted on September 2014. Is it 30K or the appropriate rate for the job whichever is the higher. Or am I exempt of it because what I found in Tier-2 Policy Guidance is "If you are applying for an extension or a change of employment application and your initial grant of leave was granted on the basis of CoS assigned before 24 November 2016, £20,800 or the appropriate rate for the job whichever is the higher"
So does that mean if the salary for assigned SOC code is £28K for experienced worker, is it the appropriate salary for switching to another tier-2 sponsor?
I am not sure so please help me

Regards

there is still confusion in this, but most likely, you are only required to be paid in excess of 28k.
IMO
