Evidence of Employee Residence Status

Hello people,
I have been following the discussions on this board and I find it very helpful. I have however just registered as I have a question that requires urgent attention.

I had an employee who worked for me for 6months. I have a copy of his passport but some information are missing off the copy. The machine cut off the lower bit of the document such that his signature and the expiry date of the passport are missing.


Can I apply with this doc, or what can I do, I am due for renewal in June!

Thanks for you prompt response.

He is a British citizen. His phone is not going and he is no longer at the address.
Can't I use the doc as it is? All the bio-data are showing clearly including his photo.
