Complain that they have failed Regulation 19(2).

You arent alone mate, I also applied in October

The home office is just flooded with applications. If they only they notified people they are running late instead of radio silence it would be far more reassuring

I wrote to my MEP (My MP hasn't replied given the dissolvement of parliament due to the election) and they had this to say

"Dear Sam,

Law Centres will be advising local residents making these applications and should have a good idea about how long applications are currently taking. You could contact any Law Centre, but I saw that your address was in Southwark so it made sense to recommend contacting them. There have been lots of media reports about the delays - for example: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/po ... 01211.html

Tristan"

So basically due to brexit the Home Office is flooded with applications and their timelines do not apply any longer
EEA 4 applied - 15th November 2015
COA received - 18 Jan
Application Refused: 15th of April
Appeal: 16th of April
Reconsideration Letter sent: 16th April
Reapplied EEA 4: 24th October 2016
Payment Taken: 28th October 2016
RC: 23 May 2017
